Free trial, charges and refunds

The trial is 7 days. The first $29 charge is the morning after it ends unless you cancel first. What to do if a charge surprised you.

Updated Oct 22, 2026

How the trial works

  1. You enter a card to start. Nothing is charged for 7 days.
  2. The morning after the 7 days end (7 AM Central), the card is charged $29 for the month (or $299 if you switched to annual).
  3. The trial page and Account, Plan and billing show the exact charge date.

Cancel any time before that and you are never charged. See How to cancel.

I was charged and did not expect it

  • Check Account, Plan and billing: it shows your status, the charge dates and your invoices.
  • If you cancelled before the charge date and were still charged, or you were charged twice, contact us with the email on your account. A person reviews every billing question within one business day and fixes our mistakes.

Refunds

Charges for a period that has started are not refunded in part, per the terms. When you cancel, you keep access until the end of the period you paid for and are not charged again.

Invoices and receipts

Every charge is listed with a receipt under Account, Plan and billing.
